Calvin and Ellen Carter founded the company in 1968.
They started their business from their garage in Virginia Beach, and then moved to a small shop off Pennsylvania Avenue in Virginia Beach where they stayed until 1987.
After years of growth, they built a new office, warehouse, and sheet metal shop in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake, where they are currently located.
