Our founder, Kermit B. Schulz, Sr. started the company as a small, two-person operation in 1946.
Since that time, KBS has grown to be the premier residential HVAC company in eastern Massachusetts.
From a small two-man operation based in South Natick in 1946, the company grew in reputation quickly, and moved to Dedham in 1948.
As the ownership changed from father to son, Kermit Jr. moved the business to his hometown of Millis, MA and continued building the company's now solid reputation in residential systems design and installations.
Since that time, KBS has grown to be the premier residential HVAC company in eastern Massachusetts.

All technicians receive: Above Average Wages, All benefits listed above, Sales Commissions on service agreements and job sales (change-outs, add-ons etc.), Generous on-call standby pay (1 week per month rotation), company service truck, cell phone, and performance based bonuses.
