A young mechanical engineer from Boston named James J. Kelley founded Acme Engineering Co. in 1948.
Acme Engineering's main focus was large plan & spec work including hospitals, commercial buildings, industrial plants, etc.
As Acme's total number of installed jobs grew, we found a need for a service division to start-up and maintain the equipment under warranty and beyond.
This trend continued to grow to the point where we decided to change our focus from plan and spec work to servicing our existing Customer base.
