In the early 1980's, company founder, Ron Nelson found himself in the refrigeration business in Hibbing, Minnesota.
He later sold Hibbing Refrigeration and moved to Mankato.
In 1993, he started Mankato Refrigeration Systems, Inc.
With the help of his wife and daughter, Mankato Refrigeration became a solid fixture in the area.
A fire in early 2010 forced Mankato Refrigeration out of its location on Patterson Avenue.
Instead of rebuilding, Ron decided to retire.
After more than 30 years in the refrigeration business, he has relocated to northern Minnesota.
He later sold Hibbing Refrigeration and moved to Mankato.

Recently, we transitioned to a new field service management software that allows access to a customer portal.
As of right now, we have no intention of the asset history from our previous software.
