We were very impressed with the level of service Sunset recently provided us for furnace maintenance and an issue with our heating. After setting up an appointment over the phone with Mary, who was very kind and quick in setting everything up, Noah arrived within a few hours. He was friendly, answered all our first-time homeowner questions, and did a thorough job checking out our furnace and diagnosing an issue with the thermostat.
He provided us a few different replacement options with different price points and was honest about the pros/cons of each of them. The price of the maintenance was waived since we purchased a new thermostat, so we really appreciate that value of service. We would definitely use Sunset again for future maintenance and HVAC needs!

Good company that gives professional service. Gave me an option of an expensive repair on my 20 year old furnace or to replace. Also that the air conditioner was nearing its end. I went for replacing both. They were able to do it the next day. Veniamin was the installer. Nothing but praise for him. When he pulled up the old air conditioner, the deck boards under it were rotted. I had some treated boards and he cut them to size and repaired the space. I was amazed that they could get electricians on such notice also. Thank you Sunset and Veniamin!

Eric was fantastic - personable, thorough, he didn't rush or seem in a hurry. He answered all my questions and made you feel there were no stupid questions. He even tried to get me a better deal if I combined work (and succeeded). He explained my systems in detail, which are new to me since I'm from Southern California. Highly recommend him and if the company is as good as he is then I'd recommend them too!

Bailey was very up front with issues our furnace had and recommended a new one. Jared and his partner were very professional and very efficient with the installation of the new furnace. We thoroughly enjoyed sunset heating and cooling services. We had 3 mini splits installed into our unbearably hot top floor. It required some complicated mapping of the drains around our roof and the technicians took their time to make it look as seamless as possible from the outside of the house. They took their time and it showed!

Our technician Ryan easily resolved our problem and identified a few issues that could be proactively addressed to prevent future a/c failure and costly repairs. Sam was great to work with! Kept me in the loop as he was troubleshooting the issue and eventually repairing our AC. My only complaint is the lack of communication on the company's part. We had to call several times to get the repair scheduled after the problem was identified. To be fair, I will say this was over the the holiday week.

We had a new Goodman air conditioning system installed and were very pleased with the work of John and Kai. They arrived promptly on the scheduled day and worked hard all day. Both were friendly and professional. The new system is terrific and so much quieter than our old 23-year-old system, both on the inside and the outside.

I had originally purchase a service plan for my HVAC system, but while Marques was inspecting my furnace he showed me pictures of my furnace that had cracks and needed replacing. He helped me select the furnace that fit my budget as well as a new hot water heater. He scheduled the install for later in the week. He was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.

Nathan was great! Very knowledgeable, professional, amiable & didn't try to sell me the top of the line expensive heat pump. I told him my situation & he suggested one that fit my plan & budget. I love the 10 months, zero interest or payments. The technicians will be here on Monday to install it, just in time to have it running before the heat wave.

I tried to see the more options for what you guys did for me. But I'll put in this comment. You did an amazing job cleaning the ducts and getting me a new hvac system! Install team was amazing! Kudos to them. THE only thing I would say was an issue was your scheduler. They need a little bit more training on communicating. It was a bit of hassle trying to get scheduled w/crane and trying to get a hold of said person was also a problem. Still 5 stars though because the real champs are the installers and cleaners!

Extremely happy with the professionalism and attitude of John and Kai. Very impressive young men. The overall experience with the company has exceeded our expectations. It started with a phone call to Robert who really started my comfort level with Sunset. I had already paid for an estimate; but I didn't feel comfortable with that experience. Robert created an appointment the day after I called and Matt was the tech that diagnosed our issue. He sold us on himself. He was authentic. John and Kai completed the install and we couldn't be happier with them. Great team effort. Thank you all
