Services
If your heat pump is older than 15 years old, chances are, we can cut your fuel bills by replacing your existing system with one of the latest heat pump models produced by Carrier.
With the increased heat temperature output by today's heat pumps, comes better operating efficiency.
Heat pumps can now be installed in homes where winter weather conditions prohibited their installations prior to Carrier's inverter technology.
There are two types of heat pumps--namely, air-source heat pumps and ground-source heat pumps (geothermal).
R. G. White HVAC & Plumbing can cut your fuel bills by replacing your existing system with the Buderus Line of high-efficiency oil burners.
These heaters are 85-percent efficient, and when installed with a Buderus Logomatic control, you will get even more heat out of every dollar spent on fuel.
The Buderus Logamatic control allows you to heat your home with cooler water temperatures when the weather is warmer outside.
When it is ten degrees outside, you need 180 degree water to heat your home.
This is not the case when it is 50 degrees outside, and you can heat your home with 120-degree water.
If your air-conditioning unit is 15 years or older, then it is time to consider replacing it with a new model from Carrier.
We have found Carrier air-conditioning units to be reliable and cost effective investment for the homeowner.
For a limited time, we are offering a Carrier sponsored program--Rent-to-Own.
You don't have to qualify via your credit-report rating, but you do have to make the initial payment and then all subsequent "rental" payments until you pay the installation price off with the their third-party vendor, Microf.
Buderus offers an excellent line of gas heaters.
The models GB142 and GB162 with built-in Logomatic technology will use cooler water to heat your home when the weather is warmer.
All Buderus boilers can be used for natural gas and LP (liquid propane) gas heating systems, and they are 93-percent efficient.
A chimney is not necessary with these boilers, and the exhaust is vented through plastic piping (PVC) to the outside wall.
A standard oil burner vents in galvanized pipe to the home chimney.
The temperature of the exhaust can range anywhere from 300 to 600 degrees going up the chimney and out of your home.
One of the largest bills in the homeowner's budget is the cost to heat and cool the home annually.
Since heating and/or cooling units incorporate moving parts to heat and/or cool the home, it is imperative to keep these moving parts maintained so that when you need them most, they will not quit working, leaving you cold in winter or hot in summer.
When dirt and soot insulate the heating element, it causes the unit to work harder to heat the dirt first before it can get to the actual heating element, making your unit less efficient and more costly to operate.
